Residential Building, Repairs and Renovations
Hills Project
​
Scenario:
Two full time working professionals have owned their home for 3 years and wanted the kitchen renovated as well as transforming the separate outside laundry and outside toilet combined into an internal second bathroom/laundry.
​
The results were excellent:
Original budget of $75,000.
Actual cost came in at $65,000, plus $7,000 management fee
Pre renovation value of $1,360,000
Post renovation value of $1,550,000
Overall Uplift of $190,000 less renovation cost resulted in an $118,000 equity boost.

Scenario:
Investment property - ground floor unit with disused 55m2 courtyard.
Bathroom renovation and yard makeover.

The results were excellent:
Original budget of $45,000.
Actual cost of $35,000 plus $5,000 management fee.
Pre renovation value of $630,000
Post renovation value of $790,000
Overall Uplift of $160,000 less renovation cost resulting in a $120,000 equity boost.

Medical and Dental Centre

Scenario:
Joonam was engaged to assist in delivery of a boutique state of the art medical and dental practice for its doctor owners.
Joonam's involvement included consultancy on planning, internal fitout and design from furniture to artwork, a customised exterior mural, multifunctional gabion rock bollard seating to other bespoke landscaping such as large bluestone bollards to protect the building and add to overall landscape design.

From early June to mid November 2021 (demolition to practice opening)

Scenario:
Owner occupied property with integrated parents retreat downstairs - landscaping and finishing works for handover.
